Which cookies we use, what they are for, and how you can change your preferences at any time.

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device so that it works properly, remembers your preferences or gathers information about your browsing. Some are essential, others are not: for the latter we ask your consent before switching them on.
On your first visit a banner appears with two options: “Necessary only”, which installs technical cookies alone, and “Accept all”, which also enables the third-party cookies described below. Until you choose, no non-essential cookie is installed. You can change your mind whenever you like by clicking “Cookie Preferences” at the bottom of any page.
These are needed for the site to work and do not require consent (Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code).
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| pf_cookie_consent | Stores the choice you made on the banner, so we do not show it again on every page | 6 months |
| Server session cookies | Keep your browsing session active and secure the contact form | Session |
These are installed only if you choose “Accept all”. They are managed by third parties acting as independent controllers, and we encourage you to read their own notices.
| Service | Purpose | Notice |
|---|---|---|
| Google Maps | Displays the map on the Location page | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Octorate | Booking engine: handles the search session and the booking itself. It is not embedded in this website: its cookies are set only once you have moved to its own pages | octorate.com/privacy |
Until you give consent, the map is replaced by a placeholder and is loaded only after you agree.
The availability search form, on the other hand, is ours and loads nothing from outside: no third-party cookie is set while you browse this website. Only when you press the button are you taken to the Octorate booking engine, where Octorate's cookies are set on their own site and under their own privacy notice.
At present we use no analytics or profiling cookies: we do not know which pages you visit or where you came from. If we ever switch on a statistics tool, we will add it to this table and ask you in the banner before installing it.
Besides our banner, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Bear in mind that disabling technical cookies may stop parts of the site from working properly.
